IMPORTANT NOTES & CONDITIONS:

• Applicants under 18 years of age must complete their entire comprehensive driver education course (both classroom & behind-the-wheel) prior to completing the Texas Department of Public Safety IMPACT TEXAS TEEN DRIVER (ITTD) video program.

​

• Both the driver education course and the ITTD program must be completed before scheduling or taking a driving test with an authorized school  The ITTD certificate must be dated within 90 days of the driving test.

​

• Applicants under 18 years of age must have a Texas Learner License in effect for a minimum of six months before they can be road tested. (The 6-month completion date is listed on the back of the individual’s learner license.)

 

• Driving Tests are scheduled by appointment ONLY. Cancellations require a 24-hour notice or a NO-SHOW fee will apply.
